Cancellation Policy
Kent Business School: Booking Cancellation Policy 1. Introduction Kent Business School ("KBS") is committed to providing excellent service to all guests and participants. This Booking Cancellation Policy is designed to outline the terms and conditions for the cancellation of bookings made for events, meetings, conferences, seminars, and other facilities at Kent Business School. 2. Scope This policy applies to all individuals and organizations who book services or facilities at Kent Business School, including but not limited to conference rooms, meeting spaces, workshops, seminars, and events. 3. General Cancellation Terms • Bookings can be canceled by the person or organization who made the reservation. • Cancellations must be made in writing or via email to the Kent Business School Events Team. • The timing and conditions of cancellation may affect the refund, if any, as specified below. 4. Cancellation Timeframes and Fees • More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. • 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund of the booking fee. • Less than 15 days before the event: No refund will be issued. 5. Exceptions • Force Majeure: In cases of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, illness, or other emergencies, where the booking cannot be completed, Kent Business School may waive cancellation fees or offer alternative arrangements at its discretion. • Special Circumstances: If the cancellation is due to a medical or emergency situation, Kent Business School may assess each case individually and may offer a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances. 6. Amendments to Bookings • Any requests to amend or change a booking (e.g., date or time changes) must be made at least 14 days before the event. Depending on availability and the nature of the request, amendments may be possible with or without additional charges. • Changes made within 14 days of the event may be treated as cancellations and may be subject to the terms of cancellation fees. 7. Non-Arrival / No Show • In the event of a "no-show" where the individual or group does not arrive on the reserved date and time without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued, and the full booking amount will be charged. 8. Refund Process • Any approved refunds will be processed within 14 days from the date of the cancellation request. • Refunds will be issued via the same method of payment used at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified. 9.
